Visual Mining Appoints Michael Brooks Vice President
of Business Development

Rockville, MD – July 29, 2008 – Visual Mining, Inc. the premier provider of advanced data visualization and performance dashboard solutions used for Business Performance Management (BPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) Applications, proudly announces the appointment of Michael Brooks as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Brooks will lead our business development and sales initiatives, focusing on further expanding Visual Mining’s global customer base, its relationships with independent software vendors (ISVs) and its partner network.

Prior to joining Visual Mining, Brooks held business development and marketing leadership positions at Theoris and Unica Corporation, where he developed highly productive strategic alliance relationships and programs. Before that, he was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s information technology management consulting practice. In addition, he has served in advisory roles with the Boulder BI Brain Trust, CTEK and other organizations.
