| JVM 1.4.2 Upgrade | NetCharts Server 4.6 comes bundled with a 1.4.2 JVM. |
| Enhancement Support for headless operation on Unix platforms | NetCharts Servers deployed on Unix platforms no longer require access to an XServer. |
| Embedded mode deployment changes | The process for embedding NetCharts Server into other application servers has been simplified for WebSphere, WebLogic and JBoss. See the NetCharts Server Administrator’s Guide and the J2EE Integration page in the Administrator’s Console for a description of the new process. |
| Java ToolKit issues | NSWebToolKit.getChart() does not create BMP images when NetCharts Server is embedded in JBoss. In some versions of WebLogic, the server/lib directory contains batik.jar and fop.jar that conflict with NetCharts Server. These jar files need to be removed in order for NSWebToolKit.getPDFReport() to work correctly in these WebLogic installations. |
