| Improved system performance | The underlying analysis engines have been improved to provide faster dashboard calculation and display times. Performance gains are also substantial in administrative functions including the initial configuration of new NCPD data sources. |
| Enhancement: New data filtering options | Enhanced filter controls provide new ways of navigating, exposing and protecting data. Default values can be defined for filters. Preset and hidden filters can restrict users to viewing certain subsets of available data. Individual tables and charts can override dashboard level filters. Default filter values can be set based on the currently signed-in user allowing single instances of dashboards to present different data to different users. |
| Enhancement: Improved Chart property Editors | Users can configure chart axes formats using graphical property editors. |
| Express Installation Option | The NCPD Installer now includes an express configuration option which automatically configures NCPD with the most common configuration options. |
| New Dashboard Transfer tool | A command line tool is now available that allows administrators to transfer subsets of content from one instance of NCPD 2.2 to another. Dashboards and related data source definitions may be copied from one system to another, simplifying the process of dashboard development, configuration control and production dashboard system maintenance. |
| NCPD Edition consolidation | NCPD Desktop Edition and NCPD Excel Edition have been discontinued. NCPD Enterprise Edition has been updated to support all current users of the former Desktop and Excel Editions. |
